Join the YPG Board

Dates and Deadlines

2012:

Due date for all application forms. Please send your completed 2012 YPGluco Board Application form, together with your resume, to the Secretary and the VP, Membership & Recruitment.

November 2012
Elections will be held at the first YPG General Body meeting during November.

January 1, 2013
The newly elected YPG Executive Board members will officially begin the 2013 term.

Membership Requirements & Eligibility: General Membership

Requirements for General Membership

Age: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Dues: Upon becoming a member, must pay $20 in annual YPG membership dues.

Contact: Must contact the YPG VP, Membership & Recruitment to express membership interest in the organization and learn of the member responsibilities prior to membership approval.

Attendance: Must attend 2 CODA YPG events or meetings prior to membership approval.

Post-Membership Approval: Must attend at least 50% of general YPG meetings and YPG events on an annual basis.

Donations: Must raise at least $75 in donations for the Central Ohio Diabetes Association on an annual basis.

Service Commitment: Must volunteer at least 15 hours to CODA-sponsored events every 12 months.

Transition Period

Following elections, the newly elected Board members will work with the exiting Board members to review all information and materials prior to beginning the 2012 term.

Board Member Requirements: Once elected, each new board member will have 6 months to complete the following criteria:

Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.

Dues: Must pay $20 in annual YPG membership dues.

Donations: Must raise at least $100 in donations to CODA on an annual basis.

Service Commitment: Must volunteer a minimum of 20 hours at CODA-sponsored events on an annual basis.

Attendance: Must attend at least 75% of Board meetings, 75% of General YPG meetings and 75% of YPG events (excused absences not included) on an annual basis.
