Diabetes education is provided for all levels. Diabetes is a serious chronic condition, but one which can be managed.  We offer diabetes classes which provide a comprehensive look at self-management skills for the newly diagnosed as well as for individuals with diabetes who want to learn new skills.  Click on the photo for more information. The 2008 Celebrities for Diabetes is scheduled for Thursday, November 20 at the Buckeye Hall of Fame Cafe. For more info click on the Lou Holtz photo.	The Walking in the Neighborhood program is designed to encourage people living with diabetes to use walking on a regular basis as a way to help control their blood sugar level and overall health. The program also urges those at risk for the disease to use exercise to assist in preventing diabetes.  Click on the photo for more information.

One in 10 people in our community will develop diabetes. The Central Ohio Diabetes Association helps Central Ohioans with diabetes detect their condition, prevent onset and complications, and learn to live well with the challenge of diabetes.

The Central Ohio Diabetes Association is an independent organization providing services to people with diabetes in Central Ohio regardless of their ability to pay. Central Ohio Diabetes Association is not affiliated with any national organization (i.e., American Diabetes Association or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation), and all funds raised stay in Central Ohio to provide services to people with diabetes.
